I have been a cardholder since 1974 and over the years I have owned several other cards but I only have mu American Express Platinum card and a bank debit card. In the few instances where I have had an issue with a charge, American Express has handled it quickly with no problems. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about a preset spending limit. They trust my personal spending descression andif an emergency arises, it is covered with my American Express Card. I honestly believe it is the only card to carry. I could not be happier.

I applied for a credit increase and they told me two months ago that it was increased to 5500 but it still shows 3000. They asked for TWO years of Complete TAX Returns to increase the credit limits. I am not applying for HOME MORTGAGE - simply increase credit limit.

The rewards don't seem to offset the cost. Many retailers will not take American Express.

I have really enjoyed the ease of use with my Amex Business Platinum card. There is no need for another card for my business and love the benefits that help to make my business travel enjoyable.

As a frequent traveler to IAH Airport in Houston, TX, I am very disappointed with the Business Platinum Card Program not having any associated club at the airport. There are a least five clubs, but non of them honor AMEX or Priority Pass. Cancelling the agreement with Continental/United Airline is a big business mistake. A lot of my friends and colleagues who carry the Platinum Card started showing frustrations with the Card since the termination of the agreement with Untied Airline. As a businessman, I would not offer a benefit then take it away; I would rather either not offer it at all, or expand on more benefits. Not to mention that my annual fees jumped from $395 to $450. Something need to be done soon!!!

We have used american express business cards for about 20 years, The card more than pays for itself with the programs and automatic savings with all their partners.

American Express Platinum Card has been a superb business tool. The flexible spending limit is a valuable asset when it comes to making purchases for my company. I see my use of my card as growing in today's world economy.

Having the Open and platinun cards trough the the 2008 recession was the only Stimulus or efficient tool that keep me going as an small business owner. Even tough 100 million credit cards were closed during this period Amex took the risk of having us( small business) with open credit. This company has the right products and a clear advantage over all credit cards out there.

Not the best business card for me. Limit was dropped during the recession not because of my credit history with the company nor my credit scores. What I like least is that they do not report your payment history at all unless the account is closed or goes into default, not a good card to build business credit with!
