The charge I pay for the OPEN Card is the biggest bargain I can think of. It's like I've hired a team of people that are available to me 24 hours a day. What would it cost me to go out and find those people train them up, and put them on the payroll?

Ideal for the "Moderate Traveler"
If you've taking time off from flying and lost your status then this is a good way to get Sky Club access, the Pay-with-Miles feature, and 2x bonus points on ticket purchases. Moderate flyers/land lubbers may benefit from the bonus 30,000 MQMs if they spend an average of $5000/month on their card. However, if you travel every week 1500-2000 miles per flight then this card won't give you much. Once you get Diamond status on Delta, you may want to downgrade to the Delta Gold card the following year in order to save yourself $355/year and still get 2x points on ticket purchases. Note: Sky Club access is complementary for those with Diamond status. Once I hit Diamond status, my "Overall Satisfaction" with the Delta SkyMiles Reserve card will probably drop.

Love the card and the benefits, the credit limit is too low for me and my travels. I have had an Amex card since 1981 and the hassle to increase the credit limit as too much for me. Customer service and the line of credit department were not helpful.

Good card and rewards
Delta Skymiles Amex is a good card. Access to the Delta Skyclub Lounge and the Medallion Qualification Miles are a must for me; I would move to a less expensive card if the Delta Reserve did not have those benefits. I would like the statements to arrive at my house a little quicker, but that has been an issue for American Express for years (my experience).

Best card for Delta Loyalists
If you travel with Delta as your #1 choice, then this is the card for you. The added power of having status on Delta and the card is great....we are talking priority for upgrades here...

Rewards Benefit
Although the Dellta Reserve card works like my Platinum, I am frustrated with not getting my second 10,000 MQMs as promised in the advertisement. I am currently waiting for the latest representative to attempt to access the offer. There should be a more efficient way to link Rewards Programs and the American Express card. I'll be in touch if MQMs are not awarded by mid-January as this is the only reason I purchased a second American Express business card.

if you reduce my card line of credit as you have it is not as usable as once signed up for. My line after being reduced for no reasons is too small to use it effectively so i was forced to go to other cards.
