    Purchase protection *

  • Can protect eligible purchases made with the Card against accidental damage and theft for up to 90 days from the date of purchase. The coverage is limited to $1,000 per occurrence, up to $50,000 per Cardmember account per calendar year, and is in EXCESS of other sources of indemnity.

  • If a store or vendor won't return an eligible item you purchased with your Card, we may refund your purchase price up to $300 per item (excluding shipping and handling), up to $1,000 per account each year.

The rewards don't seem to offset the cost. Many retailers will not take American Express.

Costco

Not the best business card for me. Limit was dropped during the recession not because of my credit history with the company nor my credit scores. What I like least is that they do not report your payment history at all unless the account is closed or goes into default, not a good card to build business credit with!

    What can I say! I've only positive experiences with my card. The staff is very friendly when a query is presesnted to them, I only wish acceptance of the card was wider.

    I,m glad that every time I call for customer services in my American Express account that American customer service answer the phone and NOT outsource in other country's. We have to support our own American customer services and I wish that they wont outsource our business needs here in the US..."LETS SUPPORT OUR OWN CUSTOMER SERVICE"....

    My American Express/Costco combination card is great. It serves as a Costco ID and payment method. Now I carry just one card to shop at Costco. Wonderful idea that works for me.
