Read the Fine Print!
The 1.5% early pay discount strictly and only applies to ending balances paid within 10 days of the statement date. The subtle but very important caveat here is that if you make payments DURING your monthly cycle because you made extra-heavy purchases early on and need to free up available spending ability or limits, you DO NOT GET THE DISCOUNT ON THOSE PAYMENTS! I called about this and got very apathetic responses. It was suggested that I build up my spending ability through consistent usage patterns by paying down mid-month. But that nullifies the discount! I'm not foregoing rewards on a $185 fee card to build up my usage patterns by making multiple payments during the month. You're better off with cards that don't penalize frequent payments during the cycle!

Worst card ever
Not a good card for a business trying to finish a remodel. Credit availability is based on each transaction not your total credit history with AMEX.

I wish that the card would offer points! I do like the cash back feature but it should also include a points reward.

I'm seeing through plum colored glasses
I basically just wanted to review your customer service for my recent application for and activation of my plum card. Flat out, your customer service is fantastic and is the reason I continually choose AMEX over other card companies. My activation was simple and achieved everything I wanted within 10 minutes. The customer service rep was knowledgable, friendly, and extremely competent. Also, being able to view, manage, and pay both of my amex cards from the same login is a big time saver and I really appreciate it. The biggest reason I chose amex to begin with was the ease of understanding and using the bill pay UI on your website. Kudos to your amex business card team members (except the people who created that ridiculous slide around to view card options thing - that's awful).

Great card
LOVE the ability to get a discount on purchases. Possessing this card has been directly responsible for our being able to hire another employee.

Plum
I switched from an airline miles reward card to the Plum. Thought I would be better off getting the refund for early payment. It was actually a hassle to pay the card in time. It has to be done immediately. You need to check emails in order to get a few extra days. I think I will return to a miles reward card . I have only used the early pay option, never the deferred interest.
