PURCHASE PROTECTION*

  • Shop with confidence knowing that eligible purchases made with the Card can be covered from theft and accidental damage up to $1,000 per occurrence, up to $50,000 per Card member account per calendar year
  • Can protect eligible purchases up to 90 days from date of purchase
  • Coverage is in EXCESS of other sources of indemnity

RETURN PROTECTION

  • If you try to return an eligible item within 90 days from the date of purchase and the merchant won't take it back, American Express may refund the full purchase price, up to $300 per item, excluding shipping and handling, up to a maximum of $1,000 annually per Card account, if you purchased it entirely with your eligible American Express Card. Coverage is subject to additional terms, conditions and exclusions

EXTENDED WARRANTY*

  • Can extend your eligible purchase's manufacturer's warranty by up to 1 additional year
  • Coverage up to the actual amount charged to your Card for the item up to a maximum of $10,000; not to exceed $50,000 per Card member account per calendar year
  • Can protect eligible U.S. purchases with warranties of 5 years or less

BAGGAGE INSURANCE PLAN*

  • Travel in comfort knowing you can be covered by the Baggage Insurance Plan* when you purchase your Common Carrier Conveyance (plane, train, ship, helicopter, or bus) on your eligible Card. Coverage is provided for up to $1,250 for carry-on baggage and up to $500 for checked baggage.
